are all you brummies schlepping over t'burton on trent sat'day? oi who you calling a brummie I'm hoping to catch the 13.03 which gets me to Burton about 13.25 failing that it'll be 13.19 arriving 13.50 if post match drinks are involved I'll need to keep an eye on the time as I'm being dragged to the NIA later to see Pink I think a couple of pubs have been recommended over the 'fishul site but I have it on good authority that the Coopers Tavern is the place to go

Hopefully yes, finances permitting.
I'll be getting straight in and out of the place though. It's a vile 'norty word'ing shithole.

Are any of you 'very norty word's coming to Aldershit the following weekend? I can't do Burton as I'm at the egg chasing with some customers, I am tempted to do Aldershot.

Continue heading down the right-hand side of Station Street to the Devonshire Arms on the corner of Milton Street. The ‘Devvie’ has a large range of Burton Bridge beers, guest ales and an extensive food menu. Also has a range of continental bottled beers as well as traditional fruit wines. Turn right into Milton Street, cross over and you will see a narrow entry to the Cooper’s Tavern. This gem of a pub is pretty unique, with an interior unchanged since the 19th Century. A small bar and lounge with beers poured straight from the barrel in the cosy back bar. Very friendly local with good value food"
