As part of my new 'not being a fatster and dying of being fat at a young age' regime, which also includes not eating many pies and keeping my binge drinking down to a mere 85 units per week I went for a swim at the local leisure centre this morning.
I must have been the youngest person there by about 30 years. At one point I thought an actual corpse was drifting towards me.
On the plus side, there were plenty of norks there. On the minus side, none of the nipples were any higher up than the owners knees.

Swimming is one of the two best exercises you can do so good on you. I've joined that many gym's in the past & never seem to have the time to go, I know poor excuse but it's true. I go swimming twice a week now as I can pick & choose the times I go. I've lost 8 inches of flab from my thighs & tummy & generally feel a lot more toned than I've done for years. A friend of mine has been on the Cambridge diet for 2 weeks now & in her first week she's lost 9lbs & shed 5 inches at £33 a week I'm seriously thinking about it but the thought of liquids only makes me shudder.

i'm sorry to have to tell you this wooly but..............the occasional swim is not going to overcome the effects of 10 pints a night and 40 bensons a day!
remember, i wasn't at all overweight but a lifetime of drunken debauchery has resulted in me fookin leg falling off!
