We have a fair amount of new blood in the squad this time around & it was good to see Sturridge score a terrific goal last week during the first friendly. How far do you think we'll progress this time around? Surely we can improve on 2010?

I think we're much better going forward and that alone makes us a better side. I think a lot of it will depend on the 'path' we've been given through the knock out stages. I'd like to think we can get to the semis?

Agree, look good going forward but there are defensive concerns. Same here, would like to think we can reach the semis at best.

It's a tough group. I've said since it was drawn that I thought we'd finish third in it. I've seen nothing to change my mind. Look at some of the world class players some teams haven't even been able to fit into their squad, and then look at who gets into our starting XI. We're just simply nowhere near good enough to do very much.

Yeah, third for me too. Can't see us getting anything from the Eyeties and Suarez's mob. We may crab a draw against Costa Rica but no doubt they'll have a few quick forwards who will make our defenders look like summat standing in a field at Bleakholt.

I'm thinking we'll draw against Italy (we always do and it's the first game), lose to the Uruguayans and beat Costa Rica. I suspect it's then down to goal difference with us and Italy for second place as I fancy Uruguay to beat them too.

I think we can get out of the group. Our two best performances in qualifying were the last two games where we simply had to win to get through. We had no choice but to "go for it". Granted, Montenegro and Poland aren't quite Uruguay and Italy but I think our best shot is to play attacking football.
Our back four lacks the pace and nous to cope with the top, top sides but we may have enough going the other way to negate this.
Should we get out the group in 2nd, our likely opponents would then be Columbia. Bit of an unknown for me, could be tricky but not impossible by any stretch.
I hope Roy has the bravery to rotate his players and keep people fresh. When we had the so called "golden generation" we had no-one of realy quality on the bench to give the top players a rest, so by the end of the group stages our first XI were knackered and inevitably knocked off in the quarter finals.

I finished third studio. I haven't seen anything to change my opinion. Results of computer software and world-class player committed suicide, we have a lot of naked close enough to reach suicide.
